More than $1,000 in cash prizes for original faith & values reporting

COLUMBIA, MO, USA, May 3, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ -- A prize purse of more than $1,000 awaits three winners in the 2016 Chandler Award for Excellence in Student Religion Reporting.

RULES: Submit at least one and up to three faith and values stories written in the 2015–16 academic year and published in campus newspapers and magazines or in general circulation newspapers during a student internship.

ELIGIBILITY: Any full-time or part-time students who have never been employed as reporters or editors at general circulation newspapers are eligible. Internships do not affect eligibility.

PRIZES: 1st - $600; 2nd - $300; 3rd - $150. All winners receive a plaque and are invited to attend the 2016 RNA Annual Conference and Awards Banquet in Silver Spring, Md.
