/EINPresswire.com/ -- VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwired) -- 04/19/16 -- Affinor Growers (CSE: AFI)(OTCQB: RSSFF)(FRANKFURT: 1AF) ("Affinor" or the "Corporation), is pleased to announce it has installed a "light industrial" vertical growing tower with the University of the Fraser Valley Agriculture Training and Research Demonstration Greenhouse at the John Volken Academy in Surrey, British Columbia. The four level automated tower will allow Affinor Growers to demonstrate and validate various crop models, and begin selling license agreements.

The tower was planted with strawberries and holds 128 plants, tripling the production per square meter when compared to the traditional soil beds within the same greenhouse. A second tower will be installed over the summer at the same location and hold 256 plants.
