Seasoned Executive Joins RagingWire After Two Decades of Operations and Engineering Experience at Dominion, NRG Energy, and General Electric

Sandino will be responsible for end-to-end operations of all RagingWire data center facilities including campuses in Ashburn, Va., Sacramento, Calif., and Dallas, Texas, as well as future builds in top North American markets. Mr. Sandino's responsibilities include critical facilities operations, commissioning, infrastructure service delivery, security, and safety on a corporate level.

Before joining RagingWire, Sandino worked at Dominion and Dominion Virginia Power for 13 years in various operations roles serving data centers, mass transit projects, and large public and private entities in the greater Washington DC area. He began as an operations manager and was quickly promoted several times to increasingly larger director roles in operations and customer solutions. Prior to Dominion, Sandino was an operations supervisor at NRG Energy and a commercial program manager for GE Energy.
Throughout his career, Phillip has been involved in many local community and professional organizations including: the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC), the Virginia Latino Higher Education Network, the Loudoun County Sustainable Energy Advisory Task Force, Fairfax County Public Schools, and the Boy Scouts of America. In 2013, Mr. Sandino was honored with a Dominion Volunteer of the Year award, recognizing the exceptional dedication of its employees who volunteer their time and energy to help in their local communities and in other countries.
Mr. Sandino holds an MBA in Strategy and Information and Operations Management from the University of Southern California -- Marshall School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Texas Tech University. Sandino is a U.S. Navy veteran and is fluent in English and Spanish.
