Work Better Welcomes Mathew Pelliccia to Its Management Team as Director of Operations

Company continues to build leadership organization; focuses on driving growth initiatives and delivering member value

NEW YORK, April 19, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Work Better, a leading network of workspaces designed to inspire, enable and connect global entrepreneurs, innovators and positive-change makers, announced today the appointment of Mathew Pelliccia as its new Director of Operations.

In his new role, Mr. Pelliccia will be responsible for identifying areas of operational growth and implementing process improvements. He will oversee the day-to-day strategic planning and program management around facilities services, including the advancement of portfolio offerings for respective Work Better sites; innovative technology initiatives; special event enhancements; employee development; as well as building other functional areas of the business. Mr. Pelliccia will focus on ensuring that the right people, practices and systems/tools are in place for the organization’s overall efficiency and success.

Mr. Pelliccia comes to Work Better with extensive experience in and knowledge of the services space. Prior to joining Work Better, he held a number of management positions in the financial services and hospitality sectors, including most recently as Manager of Administration/Events at a leading global investment management company in New York City. Previously, Mr. Pelliccia held two positions (Assistant Hospitality Manager and Manager of Administrative Services) at Bridgewater Associates, the world's largest hedge fund. He also served as a consultant and general manager for the 2008/2010 Olympic Games and was responsible for the staff and execution of all events at The USA House for the United States Olympic Committee. Before that, his roles included Assistant Operations Manager at the Lotos Club, one of the oldest literary clubs in the U.S. and Special Events Supervisor at the renowned Tribeca Grill, considered one of New York City’s downtown restaurant landmarks.
