Tony Chachere's Seeks Hometown Cooks to Appear in National TV Commercial

The Louisiana-based seasoning company is looking to cast "real people" who have successfully used its Creole products, in a national commercial.

Tony Chachere's is seeking fans who have won a national, regional or local cooking competitions at festivals, fairs or food events -- using Tony Chachere's seasoning as an ingredient. If selected, winners will be whisked off to play a major role in the new Tony Chachere's commercial, proclaiming to the nation how they used Tony Chachere's in their award-winning recipes.

For the past several years, each Tony Chachere's television commercial has received multiple awards for creativity. Last year's spot was shot in New Orleans and included an original composition from Grammy-nominated zydeco accordionist, band leader and composer, Geno Delafose. The commercial aired on more than 30 national channels, including A&E, Bravo, ESPN2, Food, FX, Headline News, HGTV, Oxygen, TBS and Travel Channel.
