Dedicated to the work of nationally acclaimed Abstract Expressionist painter Don Clausen, this destination gallery will showcase the most comprehensive collection of his work spanning nearly 70 years. The Clausen Gallery will also showcase select paintings and prints of Surrealist artist Salvador Dali.
Don Clausen has spent almost seven decades exercising his strong desire to produce experimental, engaging paintings known as Abstract Expressionism. He trained under world famous painters, yet has forged his own path with creative inquiry and personal freedom. Clausen’s approach to the canvas is inspired by the pallet, but his moods can swing from striking energy to quiet calm. He paints broad strokes of color with tools of his own invention. His compositions evoke a multitude of interpretations. Don Clausen, currently 85, continues to approach the pallet every day. He and his lovely wife, Charlotte, reside on the West Coast.

The Clausen Gallery will exhibit hundreds of paintings by Don Clausen in rotation, as well as selected works by Salvador Dali.
