SEOUL , SOUTH KOREA, January 5, 2016 /EINPresswire.com/ -- South Korea last year’s top rated educated country beats out 2014’s runner-up and 2013 best educated country Japan, by 5 points, in NJMED’s 3rd Annual rankings of the world’s top 20 educated countries.

The ranking system monitors the enrollment rate of children 4 and under in early childhood education, the performance levels of students 8 to 13 in math, science and reading in international test scores, and the educational completion rate of students 14 to 25.

NJMED a member of the United Nations Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) Department of Economic and Social Affairs, uses the data to encourage countries to ensure every child has an opportunity to reach their full potential, in a safe and nurturing environment.

NJMED’s Executive Director, Albert Mitchell II, said, “Countries that invest in their education, are investing in their most precious commodity, their future workforce. If you under sale your nations key ingredient to developing a person’s responsibility to contribute to your economic sustainability, your nation will become void, in the 21st century, and hundreds of millions of lives will be destroyed.”

Mr. Mitchell added, “The future is now, success is built on success. We live in a global society, we need each other. No nation is an island by itself. “Look at the refugee crisis, and how it is affecting the world economy. We need economic and social stability in every country in the world, and our children’s education is that portal.”

NJMED’s complete 2015 poll rankings can be found on their website –worldtop.org. Their first quarter 2016 rankings will be published on March 31, 2016.
