This marks the fourth consecutive year that the pizzeria is coordinating food collection for this important local organization, which helps thousands of local individuals and families. According to the non-profit’s website, during last year alone, more than 226,000 meals were provided to people in need throughout six Central Florida counties.

According to Second Harvest, Florida has the highest rate of food insecure children in the United States. Flippers Pizzeria encourages the local community to change that statistic by donating this holiday season.
