Embrace the holiday spirit in Calistoga with snowy family fun, Dec. 4 & 5

CALISTOGA, CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES, November 5, 2015 /EINPresswire.com/ -- On Dec. 4 & 5, Calistoga transforms into a winter wonderland filled with fun activities to be enjoyed with friends and family. Celebrate the holiday season at Holiday Village, featuring a Friday evening Shopping Stroll downtown, and on Saturday, the Calistoga Christmas Faire at the Napa County Fairgrounds in Calistoga. The festivities culminate with the 20th anniversary of the much-anticipated annual Calistoga Lighted Tractor Parade that runs down Lincoln Avenue from 7:00-8:00pm.

Friday’s Shopping Stroll hours are 4:00-8:00pm, when downtown shops extend their hours and open their doors with holiday greetings, warm drinks, cookies and cider for shoppers seeking to check off those holiday gift lists. Be sure to arrive early on Saturday, Dec. 5 to the Napa County Fairgrounds' Calistoga Christmas Faire and enjoy breakfast with Santa from 8:00-11:00am before shopping for something locally made or crafted from 30-plus vendors on-site— all while taking in the sights, sounds (carolers) and scents of the season!

Reserve your dinner table at one of our fine restaurants before grabbing your place for the finale to the evening: The 20th annual Calistoga Lighted Tractor Parade, beginning promptly at 7:00pm Discover why the Calistoga Lighted Tractor Parade ranked #2 on Condé Nast Traveler’s list of “The World's Most Over-the-Top Christmas Parades.” Be dazzled by the whimsical sights and sounds as 60 unique tractors, floats and farm equipment dance down Main Street under falling snow. Food trucks will offer tastes of Calistoga’s eateries for purchase, but best of all, Santa Claus makes a special appearance – rain, snow or shine – to join the celebration and parade with the Calistoga community. After 20 years, Calistoga will bring back the original Calistoga Lighted Tractor Parade organizers to let them see what they've created!
