This webinar will provide applicants with a description of the upcoming funding opportunity announcement (FOA), for the Deployment of Clean Energy & Energy Efficiency on Indian Lands (DE-FOA-0001390). In addition, this webinar will explain the overall FOA process to include the types of applications sought, who is eligible to apply, cost share and other requirements, what the application needs to contain, how to ask questions, and how applications will be selected for funding.

The Energy Department will present a live webinar titled "Energy Department's Distributed Wind Industry Update" on Wednesday, September 16, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. This webinar, hosted by WINDExchange, will provide updates on the distributed wind market and the Energy Department's support of this market. Nik Foster of Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) will present highlights from the recently published 2014 Distributed Wind Market Report. Alice Orrell of PNNL will walk attendees through the latest updates to the free, online Distributed Wind Policy Comparison Tool, and she will also revisit distributed wind's inclusion in the Energy Department's Wind Vision, published in March. Ian Baring-Gould will provide an overview of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory's follow-on efforts to the Wind Vision to quantify the distributed wind market's growth potential.

The Energy Department will present a live webinar titled "Announcing Winners of ORNL Building Technology Crowdsourcing Campaigns" on Thursday, September 24 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time. Attendees will participate in a live webcast from EERE Industry Day, as Oak Ridge National Laboratory reveals the winning ideas from its building technology crowdsourcing campaigns. The winners from each of the three campaigns—equipment and appliances, sensors and controls, and envelope technologies—will present their submissions.
