Tate Publishing and Author R. Todd Allard In Discussions for New Book Deal
Tate Publishing and author R. Todd Allard are in discussions concerning the 2015 release.
Acquisitions Editor Stacy Baker said, "Author R. Todd Allard tells of when Sir Edmund Hillary and his one Sherpa mountaineer conquered the final phase of the ascent to the top of Mount Everest. They did it dragging behind them their own oxygen bottles in a complete whiteout situation. A seemingly impossible achievement that was not as big as their bravery. In an interview afterwards, Sir Hillary was asked 'At any time were you afraid?' His reply? 'Of course I was afraid. I was very afraid, but courage is not the absence of fear, it is the conquest of fear.' As a young boy, Allard was always intrigued with that realization, which caused him to put himself in the way of the unknown, but self-confident, as to the outcome. Sir Hillary's quote, always close to his mind and heart, pushing him ever forward. Story after story in his new book will not disappoint. We look forward to having this book in production in just a few days so keep an eye out for this one!"
If published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book will be available upon its release through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher atwww.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting www.barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.
