7th Round Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) Negotiations

The seventh round of EU - U.S. negotiations on the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) agreement will take place in Chevy Chase, Maryland from September 29 – October 3, 2014.

Stakeholders forum

On the margins of the seventh round of negotiations, the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) will host a forum to provide an update to all interested stakeholders on the status of the negotiations and to solicit their input and feedback. The forum will take place on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at a TBD location in Chevy Chase, Maryland and will feature two separate components:  

  1. Stakeholder Policy Presentations - 11:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

    Stakeholders are invited to deliver presentations to EU and U.S. negotiators and other interested stakeholders outlining their interest in the TTIP agreement. Presentation time slots will be assigned on a first come, first served basis until capacity is reached. Only one presentation per organization will be allotted due to time constraints. Time will be allotted for discussion and QA. Stakeholders must register by Thursday, September 25, 2014 in order to receive a time assignment. To register, please click here.

  2. Chief Negotiators Briefing - 3:15 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

EU and U.S. Chief Negotiators will provide a briefing on the status of the negotiations and will answer stakeholder questions. The briefing is open to registered stakeholders. Press conference

USTR will hold a media briefing at the end of the negotiating round on Friday, October 3, 2014 in Washington, D.C. The briefing will be open to credentialed members of the press.
