Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento Provides Funding for a 2-MW Wind Turbine
July 2014 - The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District, which provides planning, engineering, project management, environmental restoration and construction services to military and civilian customers, has granted a $5.5 million contract to Icenogle Construction Management Inc. of San Francisco toward installing a 2-megawatts (MW) wind turbine at Tooele Army Depot in Utah. Minnesota-based Juhl Energy is the lead design and installation subcontractor. Construction of the wind turbine is scheduled to begin spring of 2015.
