Jake R. Nichol, of Portland, Oregon, has more than 40 years’ experience in the tool industry, both in the U.S. and internationally. He is currently completing a nine-year tenure as CEO and President of Leatherman Tool Group, Inc. In his time at Leatherman, Nichol has navigated the company from a maturing product phase through a lean manufacturing transition and new product development acceleration process. The company has grown more than two-and-a-half times in size and revenue under his leadership. Prior to joining Leatherman, Nichol spent eight years as president at Danaher Corp. (manufacturer of Sears Craftsman tools), preceded by 24 years at Stanley Tools. Nichol currently serves on the boards of directors at Leupold & Stevens and ESCO Corp. A native of Salt Lake City, Mr. Nichol completed his education at the University of Utah and maintains a home in Park City. He has a long history of holding leadership positions with the Boy Scouts of America and other children’s charities, as well as in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Kent F. Ivanoff, of Boise, Idaho, is a high-energy, seasoned business leader and entrepreneur with a track record of delivering break-through results in a variety of settings and industries. For the last four years, he’s been CEO of iVinci Health LLC, a health care technology company he co-founded, focusing on how health systems manage patient revenue. Currently, products are generating significant gains in annual operating profit and ROI for each iVinci client. He has prior experience as a Fortune 500 executive, having served in leadership roles with Capital One, American Direct Credit, Futura Corp., and Chevron. He is also a proven turn-around leader, having re-invigorated business in industries ranging from small regional companies to national, multi-billion dollar entities. Mr. Ivanoff earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Idaho, and a master’s in business administration from Stanford University. He is active in his community as a nationally licensed youth soccer coach, and was recognized as the Washington, D.C., Idealist of the Year in 2006.
