The two leaders agreed that if Russia further escalated the situation in Ukraine, it would face mounting consequences for its actions. The Vice President thanked the Prime Minister for Slovakias commitment to bolstering energy security within Europe, including by supporting the reverse flow of natural gas to Ukraine.
