December 10, 2013, 14:30

The employees of the Sakhalin branch of Gazprom Transgaz Tomsk jointly with their colleagues from Gazprom’s subsidiaries and the representative office in the Sakhalin Region held the Happy Day charity campaign in the Kristall sports palace for the children from the orphanage of Pravda settlement and the social rehabilitation center of Uglezavodsk. The event was held involving the personal funds raised by the gasmen.

Coaches Vladimir Kormachev and Yegor Nurgaliyev taught a hockey master-class to the children of 13 to 16 years old.

“The game fosters thinking, speed, power – all these will come handy in life. Maybe one of the guys training today will become a good hockey player one day,” said Sergey Sheshukov, First Deputy Director of the Sakhalin branch of Gazprom Transgaz Tomsk, who took the ice together with the children.

The Happy Day continued in the tour around the Kristall sports palace after which each child was presented with a soccer ball with Olympic branding and sweet New Year gifts.
