Members of the championship Bruin women's soccer team that brought in UCLA's historic 110th NCAA title got to savor their victory on NBC's "Tonight Show" when host Jay Leno called them out for applause Thursday.

During his monologue at the top of the show, Leno hailed the Bruins, who were in the audience, for capturing UCLA's first-ever NCAA women's soccer championship Sunday. The team also had an opportunity to take a photo with Leno on the set and visit the control room backstage. The show featured guests Kevin Hart, Brooklyn Decker and Chris Young.

"Going to the Jay Leno show was such a cool experience," said junior defender Caprice Dydasco. "We were able to meet him and go backstage to see the behind-the-scenes jobs. It was amazing to see how much work actually goes into an hour show. The show itself was really fun, and it was very nice of them to invite us and recognize us for winning a national championship."

Said senior goalkeeper Alana Munger, "Today was so much fun. It was really nice to get together with the coaches and some of my teammates again and have a great time laughing at the Jay Leno show. Ever since we got back from North Carolina, everyone has been so nice and congratulating us on winning. Going to this show was an opportunity for us to have some fun while celebrating the national championship, and I am so grateful for the support and appreciation everyone has shown us."
