The Center for Scholastic Inquiry, an academic research organization advancing discovery and evidence-based practice, announces special pricing for its multidisciplinary conference in Scottsdale, Arizona. CSI's International Academic Research Conference will explore the role of research in informing and transforming professional practice, and will take place at The Scottsdale Cottonwoods Resort & Suites April 17-19, 2013. This conference features keynote addresses, morning and afternoon breakout sessions, more than 100 presenters from over 50 institutions, coaching clinics and networking events that bring together and explore the nexus of research and best practice. • Friday morning breakout sessions include presentations on topics ranging from analysis of rules and bureaucracy to the linguistic and cultural influence of Hispanic families on school learning. A round-table intensive with our key note speaker is being offered during Friday's lunch break. Attendees who take part will explore leadership and its personal and professional application via concentrated, transdisciplinary discourse. Friday afternoon breakout sessions cover topics like an alternative law school admission process and academic experiences of African Americans in doctoral programs. Friday afternoon concludes with the closing general session and awards ceremony for Best Presentations and Best Papers.
