Land's End's ticket to wet weather fun with new online booking service

/EINPresswire.com/ London (Submitpressrelease123.com - press release) The forecast may be mixed but visitors to Land's End are still smiling whatever the weather, thanks to a new online booking service which offers 20 per cent off admission prices.

Even if it does rain, the new system will ensure visitors have a ticket to wet weather enjoyment at all the Cornwall attraction's indoor entertainment.

New figures show a higher than expected number of visitors to the iconic Cornish destination's undercover attractions as tourists look for indoor entertainment to keep them out of the rain.

Visits to the attractions are also expected to increase by a further 20 per cent, thanks to the new online booking system.

Forecasters are now predicting that sunny summer weather is on the way at last following weeks of downpours across the UK.

That's great news for visitors to Land's End who will be able to see the natural beauty of the area in all its glory as well as enjoy the packed schedule of free summer events, including Air Sea Rescue Day, on Thursday July 26.

Indoor attractions include Arthur's Quest, a dramatic, new interactive experience that recreates the legend, reflecting its deep roots in Cornish folklore.

The exhibition includes cutting-edge special effects and interactive challenges, taking the visitor on an adventurous search for King Arthur… and is narrated by the inimitable Brian Blessed.

Land's End is also home to a highly-acclaimed, family cinema 4D film experience.

Viewers are drawn into an exciting world where everything you see is in 3D… everything you hear is in powerful cinema surround sound ? with the added fun of 'feeling' the action too!

Indoor attractions also include the famous End to End and Air Sea Rescue exhibitions, shops, a restaurant and a café.

The 20 per cent discount means a Family Saver ticket (two adults and two children) will cost £20 instead of £25 when booked online, perfect for kids days out.

A Family Saver ticket for one adult and two children will be £16, not £20.

Tickets can be booked online now at: www.landsend-landmark.co.uk/shop.

David Bryans, general manager at Land's End, said: "Our indoor attractions are proving increasingly popular with visitors, whatever the weather.

"But there is no doubt more people make a beeline for them when the weather is not as good as it should be, as our figures show.

"Arthur's Quest is one of the most action-packed exhibitions of its kind anywhere in the UK and to have it here in Cornwall, its natural home, is fantastic.

"The feedback we have had from visitors since it opened its doors earlier this year has been very positive.

"It is just one part of our blueprint to ensure that a visit to Land's End is a truly memorable experience for families and all our visitors.

"We are investing heavily in the attraction, with a £3million programme to improve our facilities, so Land's End remains an integral part of any visit to Cornwall, whatever the weather!"
