Dallas TV Show Starts June 13 On TNT TV With Boost From Wild Bill's

/EINPresswire.com/ The iconic "Dallas" series returns to prime time Wednesday, June 13 for a 10-part summer run that concludes Aug. 15. Wild Bill Dewbre once again is behind the scenes as a western consultant and wardrobe advisor to the series.

When the new Dallas TV show begins its 10-week summer run on cable TV tonight, Wild Bill's Western Store will have a starring, if invisible, role.

As with the original Dallas TV show that aired from 1978 through 1991, Dallas native "Wild Bill" Dewbre, once again is behind the scenes as a wardrobe consultant. His Wild Bill's Western Store serves as rich resource for authentic western wear appearing in the series.

"The folks at TNT TV have been great to work with," Dewbre said. "They have taken great care to ensure the show has an authentic Dallas look and feel to it, from shooting locations down to the jeans, boots and dress clothes the actors wear on camera."

The 2012 Dallas TV show picks up after a 21-year pause following the completion of the original series in 1991. A number of familiar characters appear in the new TNT TV series - J. R. (Larry Hagman), Bobby (Patrick Duffy), Sue Ellen (Linda Gray), Cliff Barnes (Ken Kercheval), Ray Krebs (Steve Kanaly) and Lucy Ewing (Charlene Tilton), but the focus is on the new generation of Ewings this time around.

John Ross Ewing III (Josh Henderson), son of J. R. and Sue Ellen Ewing, assumes the mantle of malice hit father wore so well in the previous series. Christopher Ewing (Jesse Metcalfe), adopted son of Bobby and Pam Ewing, displays the softer side of the family.

Wild Bill has fitted Henderson, Metcalfe and other members of the new TNT TV cast with authentic western wear and his trademark custom-made cowboy boots. Dewbre takes careful measurements and then helps select leathers to get the special look and feel for which his boots are known. Top-name boot makers including Luchese and Corrall then make each pair of boots by hand to Dewbre's specifications.

Wild Bill's Western Store is a popular tourist attraction in a city that draws a lot of visitors. The Dallas Convention and Visitors' Bureau has it on their must see list. Wild Bill and his cowboy crew regularly host corporate events for organizations such as Google, Intercontinental Hotels, cars.com, National Coalition of Black Meeting Planners and Super Bowl XLV.

Dewbre's crew also does out-of-town and even international events for groups that want an event with authentic western wear, from custom-fitted cowboy hats and boots, to company logos branded onto choice steaks and hat brims.

"We are glad for the return of the Dallas TV show because it's just a lot of fun, and it calls attention to our city," Dewbre said. "I hope people enjoy this TNT TV series as much as they did the first, and that when they come to Dallas they will come to Wild Bill's to say hi and talk about the show."
