"Hello Sunshine Goodbye Rain" 'Rocking Country Song With A True Legend"
New York, NY December 14, 2009 -- While playing a gig on Long Island Joe Bayer was approached by a gentlemen who said he liked the bands sound and wanted to know if Joe and the band wanted to record a song together. Already in the process of recording their third CD titled Locked, Rocked and Loaded Joe couldn't pass up the opportunity. The gentlemen who approached Joe was none other than Gary U.S. Bonds who happens to have a song in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The song Joe chose for the duet couldn't have been more fitting. "Hello Sunshine Goodbye Rain" is an up tempo country song perfect for boot scooting out on the dance floor. The traditional style of the song with a 50's Rock and Roll feel mixed with a modern country flow seems to blend the two artist's styles together almost seamlessly. Joe says "working with a legend like Bonds really adds a special feeling and inspiration to the track."
Gary U.S. Bonds has had hit songs such as "Quarter to Three" which appears on The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll list. In 1963 Bonds headlined a European tour over The Beatles. Over the years Gary has collaborated with some of the greatest of all time like Bruce Springsteen and The E. Street Band and Steven Van Zandt. Bonds resurged in the early 80's with the hit song "This Little Girl" which reached number eleven on the pop charts and number five on the mainstream rock charts. Having accomplished all that he has, Bonds a member of the Long Island Hall of Fame is also a renowned song writer having co-written "She's All I Got" with Jerry Williams Jr. (Swamp Dogg) and receiving a nomination for the Country Music Association's song of the year in 1972 which was recorded by Johnny Paycheck.
The debut single "Hello Sunshine Goodbye Rain" is currently being played in the U.S.A., London and Australia. A new video for the song can be seen on various web video channels like You Tube and will soon be on local and national cable and satellite T.V. channels as well. CD number three will be ready by the end of December 2009 setting up 2010 to be a very big year for the Joe Bayer Band. Joe and the band are currently scheduling shows for the upcoming year.
