New York Giants Running Back, Saquon Barkley, Reemerges on Instagram
LOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, October 13, 2020 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Things went from bad to worse for the Giants when, in their Week 2 loss to the Bears at the end of September; Saquon Barkley tore his ACL on the first play of the second quarter.
No one seemed to be taking it harder than Barkley, who, except for a Jan. 26 posting for the late Kobe Bryant, deleted every photo on his Instagram the night of the injury. He posted two pictures the next day, one of him being helped off the field and another of him walking, saying, "Gonna be a hell of a story ..." The 23-year-old running back hadn’t posted since then.
On Instagram Saturday, however, Barkley re-emerged with a post that Giants fans should take solace next to the team's Sunday match against the Dallas Cowboys, who are looking to drop the Giants to 0-5.
“Life is always gonna throw crazy challenges your way…” Barkley wrote to his 2.2 million followers. “But through the toughest times.. who are u during those challenges #sowhatnowwhat.”

In Week 2, Barkley took a second-down carry to the right sideline and was met by Bears safety Eddie Jackson, which resulted in a rough routine tackle from which Barkley could not get up. Without putting some strain on his right leg, he had to be helped off the field before he was taken to the locker room.
A torn ACL in his right knee that would require surgery to repair the ligament was confirmed by an MRI the next day. Ending his 2020 season in the NFL. Before the injury, Barkley produced 34 rushing yards, 60 receiving yards and zero touchdowns in two games.
