Executive Council meeting opens AU Extraordinary Summit
Angola is to be represented by its Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Téte António.
A press note from Angola Permanent Mission to African Union, the 35th session of the AU Executive Council to run on July 4 and 5 will prepare the AU Extraordinary Summit scheduled for July 7, whose main subject of discussion is the launching of the operational phase of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
The Angolan delegation is being led by the Foreign Affairs minister, Manuel Augusto, also integrating the Trade minister, Joffre Van-Dúnem, ambassadors to Ethiopia and African Union,Francisco da Cruz, Belgium and European Union, Georges Chikoti, and ambassador to Nigeria,Eustáquio Quibato.
