STATEN ISLAND FAMILY WITHOUT HEAT FOR THE HOLIDAYS:
THE CARL V. BINI MEMORIAL FUND AND JIM HALL HVAC STEP IN
The request came in through our website, and we immediately went into action.”
STATEN ISLAND, NEW YORK, UNITED STATES, January 9, 2019 /EINPresswire.com/ -- A Staten Island woman and her children found themselves without heat in their home and without the means to pay to have it repaired. The mother, who opted to remain anonymous, reached out to Staten Island based nonprofit The Carl V. Bini Memorial Fund1 for help, and the unit was repaired just in time for the holidays.— Massimo DiDonna
“The request came in through our website, and we immediately went into action,” said Massimo DiDonna, President and Chairman of The Carl V Bini Memorial Fund. “We reached out to our friends at Jim Hall2 HVAC to evaluate the situation, and through the generosity of Jim Hall and their vendor, SW Anderson, the unit was replaced and heat restored in time for this family to enjoy the holidays.”
The original HVAC equipment was beyond repair, and in order to restore heat a brand-new Daiken Unit was ordered and installed.
“We are happy to have contributed to the Daikin unitary equipment for this project.” said Brandon Boos, Sales Manager at S.W. Anderson HVAC Supply3. “We love giving back to our community and no family should be without heat, especially during the holiday season.”
The Bini Fund receives immediate needs requests such as this on a weekly basis and has done its best over the past decade to address and fulfill every request to the best of its ability.
"We are a Staten Island based business," said Jim Hall, of Jim Hall Heating and Air Conditioning. "It's our privilege to help those who reside within the community we serve."
