Science Transforming Life
We are missing something if we don't realize how profoundly technology has changed our world and continues to reshape it,”
WASHINGTON, D.C., USA, July 11, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Llewellyn King, executive producer and host of "White House Chronicle1," a weekly news and public affairs program on PBS and other broadcast outlets, announced today six areas in which the program will be making mini-series through the end of the year. — Llewellyn King, Host "White House Chronicle"
These are:
1. The future of electricity and grid security.
2. The future of electrified surface transportation.
3. The future of air transportation, emphasizing electric and unmanned aircraft.
4. The future of work, automation and the gig economy.
5. The future of block chain, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.
6. The future of additive manufacturing (3D printing) and how it will change manufacturing and affect jobs.
"Our interest in these subjects reflects our belief that while politics are vital, other forces also shape the future. We are missing something if we don't realize how profoundly technology has changed our world and continues to reshape it," said King, a veteran writer and broadcaster on the intersection of politics and technology.
"Eventually, all these changes will have to be addressed in policy by the White House and Congress," he said.
"White House Chronicle" is looking to partner with companies, universities or foundations that understand the importance of our techno-political future.
"White House Chronicle" airs nationwide on 200 PBS and public, educational and government (PEG) access stations, and the commercial AMG TV network. It airs worldwide on Voice of America Television and Radio in English and Chinese.
An audio version of the half hour program airs four times on SiriusXM Radio's P.O.T.U.S. (Politics of the United States), Channel 124.
