New tool from IT Governance helps organisations assess their current position against the GDPR
Alan Calder, the founder and executive chairman of IT Governance, said: “With the GDPR being enforced from 25 May 2018, organisations should be looking to kick-start their projects now. This handy tool1 will help organisations assess their gaps against the requirements, enabling them to plan their project more effectively.”
The tool is designed around ten high-level areas such as risk management, scope, rights of data subjects, and roles and responsibilities. The question-based tool provides a clear, colour-coded analysis that will inform the user of any gaps between their current data protection regime and the GDPR.
Developed by GDPR experts, this tool will help organisations get the necessary steps in place to start their GDPR compliance project effectively.
