Gazprom Neft named one of Russia’s three most attractive employers in 2016 Universum rankings
The 2016 Universum Professional Survey shows Gazprom Neft in second place in its “Engineering” category, and taking third place in “Business”. The company is also placed second in additional ratings for “Jurisprudence”.
Ratings were collated by Universum specialists on the basis of a major survey conducted from November 2015 to August 2016 and involving more than 26,000 Russian professionals from across the entire country. Ratings were collated by Universum specialists on the basis of a major survey conducted from November 2015 to August 2016 and involving more than 26,000 Russian professionals from across the entire country. Young professionals (either under 40 or with less than eight years’ work experience) made up 80 percent of respondents to this year’s survey, with 20 percent mature professionals (over 40 or with more than eight years’ work experience). The average age of respondents was 29.
Winners were determined according to four key nomination categories — Business, Engineering, IT and Humanities.
Gazprom Neft had already been cited as one of the leading top three companies in Universum ratings in May 2016, albeit, in that instance, in a student survey.
On the basis of its own labour market research Gazprom Neft in 2015 further clarified its value proposition as an employer, offering an environment for professional fulfilment and personal development, as well as the opportunity to work on major projects — important to the country, and to the world, address interesting challenges and tasks, and help shape the future.
Vitaly Baranov, Deputy CEO for Administration, Gazprom Neft, commented: “A leading position in one of the most representative international ratings confirms the appeal of our company’s value proposition as an employer. The results of the Universum survey demonstrate that Gazprom Neft’s values are close to those of young professionals, creating an opportunity for us to engage those people closest to us in outlook in the company’s projects.”
