Like Tom Hanks in the fictional "Angels and Demons", they are the real life 'symbologists' who have discovered this ancient point from which all religion and philosophy have descended- and will culminate. The Messengers Benefit Raises Money And Awareness On World AIDS Day

The benefit was held on December 1st, World AIDS Day, with an eBay charity online auction to win a "One Day Studio Session with The Messengers" as well as a silent auction at the event. Invited guests brought in dozens upon dozens of musical toys, which have been donated to Children Affected by AIDS Foundation (CAAF). In addition, all monies raised have been donated to the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF).

"The Messengers", Nasri Atweh and Adam Messinger, are originally from Toronto, Canada and now based in Los Angeles, United States. Grammy-nominated as a team, Nasri and Adam have been partners for over 10 years. Nasri started out as a recording artist in Canada signed with Universal, and Adam was a Juno nominated producer (Junos in Canada are equivalent to Grammys in US), when they met. Their partnership is a great example of music bringing cultures together, with Nasri's heritage being Christian/Palestinian and Adam's family background being Jewish/Catholic.

The event premiered two acts which had been discovered on YouTube by The Messengers. The duo of Alexus Phomvongsa and Brian Shin, who were flown to LA after Adam and Nasri viewed cover performances of songs they had written and produced with Chris Brown (Next 2 You, ft. Justin Bieber) and Justin Bieber (Mistletoe), and a newly signed band from Scotland called TUCKER. TUCKER was recently signed by L.A. Reid (X Factor) to Epic Records label, and are currently being developed by The Messengers.

Also performing that night were The Messengers, with a fun homage to Mrs. Claus including an improv of holiday classics mashed up, and a toy piano solo.

Before the performances began, DJ Stella Neptune was playing her vinyl favourites mixing samba with funky vibes. Post performance featured DJ-Producer Frank E spinning on the tables... he had the guests dancing until the lights went on!

The Messengers raised monies for Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation with an eBay auction of a "One day Studio Session" to be held at the legendary Westlake Studios, Los Angeles. It was featured on the "What's Hot" home page of eBay, next to a meet-and-greet with Christina Aguilera. They also held a Silent Auction at the event that featured local Artists' jewelry by Sogoli, art by Melanie Greenwood and Olivia Barratier, Tapaholic classes, Hair design and Hair jewelry by Tanya Ramirez - Untamed Instincts, Hair Design by Sweet 9 Salon, as well as Stella Neptune's ecologically friendly recycled clothing and cashmendz patches, plus an autographed guitar donated by Guitar Centre. 100 % of all monies raised are being donated to EGPAF.

Door admission for the party was a *musical* toy. Guests brought musical toys that spilled out of the collection boxes on to tables and the floor. It was an incredible sight. The musical toys were delivered to and received the next day by CAAF - Children Affected by AIDS Foundation. The toys were for children of all ages from beginner level to advanced, including donations of real guitars and ukeleles.

Sexual Abuse Lawsuits Filed by Corsiglia McMahon & Allard against Child Development Inc. & Trace CDC

Two separate lawsuits allege that the negligent hiring and supervision of accused child molester Keith Woodhouse by San Jose-based Child Development, Inc. and Trace CDC resulted in the sexual molestation of as many as ten young girls under the age of 14.

/EINPresswire.com/San Jose, CA - Two separate lawsuits have been filed by the San Jose personal injury law firm of Corsiglia, McMahon & Allard against Child Development, Inc. and Trace CDC for their failure to conduct an adequate background check on and otherwise properly supervise accused child molester Keith Woodhouse. Woodhouse is currently facing child molestation charges that carry a life in prison sentence.

The lawsuits were filed on behalf of 7 and 8 year old girls, respectively. In a lawsuit (Santa Clara County Superior Court, case # 1-11-CV-214040) filed this week, the 7 year old states she was sexually molested by Woodhouse on numerous occasions while he was employed as a daycare worker by Trace CDC. In the lawsuit filed November 4, 2011 (Santa Clara County Superior Court, case #111CV212614), the 8 year old girl states that there were multiple incidents of sexual molestation. The lawsuits allege that Woodhouse molested and sexually assaulted at least 5-10 young female students under the age of 14.

"Both Child Development, Inc. and Trace CDC utterly failed to ensure the safety and security of small children" said attorney Robert Allard, partner in the law firm of Corsiglia, McMahon & Allard. "In today's climate, these organizations should have known the potentially dire consequences of not properly checking the background of a person who is entrusted with the welfare of young kids", added Allard.

The lawsuit claims that Woodhouse in or about 2007 sexually assaulted a minor female at a church swimming pool and that he was immediately terminated from his position after he was seen exiting a pool with a full erection while holding a child. Despite the sexual assault, the lawsuit states that Trace CDC hired Woodhouse three years later as an after school child care worker. The complaint further states that neither Child Development, Inc. nor Trace CDC investigated Woodhouse's background, including a reference check with the church from which he was fired. Despite this history, Woodhouse was was given unfettered access to young children and often times would be seen spending considerable time with them on his lap.

Child Development, Inc. administers over 160 child development centers in California and serves over 15, 000 children. The organization claims to work with 36 school districts throughout the state to provide before and after school programs. "We can start protecting young children against sexual predators by requiring our public agencies to mandate full background checks for employees or volunteers of organizations as a condition to rent or lease their facilities", said Allard, who in fact is taking steps with local legislators to implement such a law in California.

According to police reports, Woodhouse's work and volunteer experience dates back to 1999 in the San Jose and Los Angeles areas, and his experience consists of various positions in camp counseling, children's ministry internships, Sunday school counseling, day care and after school activities.

It is argued that the exclusions which feature in the current legislation would never have been tolerated if they were directed at those with physical health problems. 360 diversity is involved with promoting equality and diversity, they are hopeful of a revision of this legislation in order to bring it in line with the Equality Act 2010.

35,000 year old "Off the Ark" mural found in French cave!

Initially scientists could not explain this incredible mural, so they isolated three major themes found on the West Wall of this End Chamber into 'Panel of the Rhinoceros'; 'Niche of the Horse'; and 'Panel of the Lions (Felines)'. The centerpiece of this entire 'Off the Ark' mural is the honored 'Horse of the Niche' - revered in a chapel-like enclosure for good reason. A known symbol of peace and the Creator's Holy Spirit, the shape of the Angelic Horse in the background was first made by scraping the white limestone cave wall. The intentional overlapping art of the Horse in the foreground has a neatly drawn umbilical cord emphasize the Creator's Spirit of Life being 'heart pumped' back into the earth. 1. The Lao PDR to implement a free and fair and multiparty election with a "fully democratic electoral system" under international monitoring with a focus on national reconciliation.

2. The Socialist Republic of Vietnam government to withdraw the 60,000 Vietnamese soldiers from Laos. The Vietnamese government's plan to control its neighbouring countries is seen as a violation of Laos' national sovereignty and integrity as a nation.
This plan is believed to be in action as it is currently being carried out by the existing "puppet" Lao party leaders to the Hanoi government as noted in the paper presented at the National Conference in 2007 by Michael Mike, "Vietnam's Tay Tien expansion into Laos and Cambodia" , which outlined the neo-colonizing of Laos.

3/ Abolish the unfair of 25 year Treaty between Vietnam & Laos ( July 18, 1977 )
Article Five: The Two Sides Endeavor to Strengthen Militants, Solidarity Relations & Cooperation
Military, the 25 year Vietnamese - Laotian Treaty of July 18, 1977 allowed more then 500,000 Vietnamese civilians and family of the army to station in Laos. There were more than 100,000 Vietnam troops in December 1988.
In December 1988, the Communist Lao Government announced that all the Vietnam troops had withdrawn from Laos but in fact, there are still more than 60,000 Vietnamese troops in December 1990.
On 11 November 1995 Vietnam signed a new Treaty with Laos to further enhance this arrangement, under the name " Labour Exchange Agreement "
Under the term of Labour Exchange Agreement , Vietnam sent their soldiers to Laos in the disguise of ordinary labourers; these labourers had trucks of their own, in which they kept a wide variety of special weaponry for military action for any eventuality.

Dr Somboun Thoraninh , president of the Lao National Council for Democracy calls upon the international communities:

1. that Laos must be the Fatherland of the Laotians of all edges , including those who have adopted the nationality of their host country ; and the Laotians must have expatriated themselves to flee the Vietnamese invasion must be able to return freely to the country and to keep their Lao origin nationality ,

2. the cessation of all exactions and arbitrary arrests against the patriots who reclaim the liberty , reconciliation, democracy , human rights and multi-party system ;

3. the cancellation all the treaties which were not concluded from equal terms with foreign countries and which undermine national sovereignty , in particular with the neighbouring countries ,

4. the total withdrawal of the foreign forces from Laos under the control of the U.N.O ;

5.the free general elections of universal suffrage with the participation of all political formations inside and outside the country under the international supervision ;

6. the edification of a political regime really democratic and liberal , reflecting the aspirations of the most ardent of the Lao people by a Referendum

No peace and no Justice in the Holy-Land

/EINPresswire.com/There is no peace in the Holy Land because the Palestinian Authority and Israel government do not negotiate and each party preconditions for entering direct talks. In such situation it is necessary to think "out of the box". In the website HarHoma.com/Confederation can be found a challenging solution: "The way to bring peace to the Middle East to establish a confederation which will include a Palestinian state in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, the State of Israel and the Kingdom of Jordan." There we found black on white a draft of confederation agreement and guideline for Middle East common market. People from all nations can comment on it and suggest modification. In many negotiations party didn't meet in office or prestigious hotel. They exchange drafts and arrived to agreement also if they didn't sympathies each other. The question remains if the international communities, during the discussing the sovereignty of Palestinian, will oblige the party to exchange drafts or to comment on the draft already presented in the web.

There is also no justice in the Holy Land because Israel supreme Judge Yoram Danziger sits in an appeal of Makor Company against Israel Land Authority (ILA) when Judge Danziger had financial interest and severe dispute with the same ILA, at the same time, in the same court about land that he leased from ILA. He was in conflict of interest and didn't disclose his interest to Makor. Here the details based on documents.

Makor Company has purchased in 1970 a large tract of land in Har Homa (Jabal Abu Ghneim) in Jerusalem from its owners. Makor Company wanted to develop residential housing on theirs portion and leave Palestinian owners to build on theirs. The company even planned to build on theirs land a Peace Center where people of different religions and nationalities could work together toward a peaceful relationship. In 1989, Makor and the Jerusalem Development Authority (JDA) (fully control by the government and the municipality) signed an agreement on developing the residential quarter. The JDA submitted zoning plans to the Jerusalem District Planning Committee (JDPC) before expropriation. Makor was sure that their vision was close to be realized.

However, the ILA rescinded the agreement between Makor and JDA, the zoning plans submitted to JDPC and confiscated in 1991 all Makor and Palestinian land, claiming that it needed to develop a larger area for immediate security reason. Such claim was false because during the last 20 Years the ILA sold to contractors only land purchase by Makor. As stated on one of Makor's websites, harhoma.com, "The question has never been to build or not to build. The question is should the owners build, or should the land be expropriated and given to government-designated builders. In 1991 the Government of Israel made use of Land Expropriation Law 1943, which is intended for land expropriations for public purposes, such as military bases, hospitals, etc. The law was not intended for seizing lands from enterprise companies…."
Makor, the Palestinians land owners and Pease Now Movement, protest the confiscation and suggest to leave each owner to build on his land. No doubted that the confiscation trampled cooperation between Israeli Jews and Palestinians who were ready to live side by side. The result is that the Israeli government ignored advantages to leave the land owners to develop the quarter and causing a huge international uproar and eliciting Palestinian.
After the expropriation became final Makor present a claim for just compensation. Makor brought thirteen expert witnesses - among them: prof. Zvi Eckstein, Deputy Governor of the Bank of Israel, Prof. Israel Zang, Vice Rector of Tel Aviv University, Prof Shemuel Zamir of Hebrew Univercity, prof. Shemuel Kandel from Tel Aviv University and architect Prof. Ram Carmi, Israel Prize Laureate, who testifided on the nature of Makor land and on the planning he and his team prepare and submit to JDPC, four appraisals and economists - who appraised the land at $600 per square meter. Judge Danziger ignores the contract with JDA and all thirteen experts of Makor. He rejects the appeal despite the fact that six Supreme Judges decided that Makor has presented plans to build a neighborhood and despite the fact that ILA declared that Makor has had an advantage comparing with neighbors land. He rejects the appeal based on one government employee witness who valued it at $25 per square meter. He compare parcel of 200 square meter with Makor parcel of 800,000 square meter; and ignore that the ILA leased an agriculture land near Makor land for $1,800 per square meter. He didn't use other valuation approaches.

Makor found out that Judge Danziger had his own dispute with the same ILA, at the same time, in the same court about land that he leased from ILA. The ILA cancel the lease and Danziger ask for compensation estimated $20 million.

Danziger Knew that the probability to win his appeal was very low after his case was totally rejected by the Tel-Aviv district court. By rejecting Makor's appeal for $320 million he expects to receive in return from ILA compensate estimated $20 million. The judge Danziger failed to recuse himself from Makor's case even though he himself had a similar dispute and case pending against the same ILA.

Makor, by prof. in law, Berachyahu Lifshitz from Jerusalem Hebrew University, appealed to Dorit Beinish, President of the Supreme Court, alleging bias by Justice Danziger, and asked her to void the verdict. Beinish ruled against Makor, stating - based on Danziger comment - "The proceedings of the appeal before me and the matter to which Judge Danziger is a party have no relationship, let alone the kind of relationship that may found a fear of partiality." But the law and the Israeli Code of Ethics for Judges passed by beinish on 2007 require recusal when the judge has a substantial financial or personal interest in "a party to the proceedings."

Makor present a criminal complaint to the General Attorney Yehuda Vienstein again Judge Danziger. Danziger conflict of interest damages the integrity of the Israeli legal system unless it will be investigated by the police to arrive to decision if he commits a crime when he abuse maliciously his power as Judge and sit in case when he has finance interest in the opposite party. In less severe cases it was considered - not only as conflict of interest and breach of trust - but also as bribe. In those cases public servants were charged and found guilty by the Israel Supreme court.

Israel prides itself on being a country of justice. Prof. Aharon Barak, former President of Israel Supreme Court state: "…the judge has neither sword nor purse…". Today, given the precedent established by Judge Danziger, everyone can say without hesitation that the Israel Supreme Judge has a purse and also a sword. Judge appropriate measures are not pure anymore, wherever they were stained with a judge's financial interests in a party. His behavior affected the judge's integrity. The prosecution's duty is to require a judge to respect the law and certain principles. If the crime was committed, to prosecute him.

No such precedent was found where a judge sat in court and writes judgment when he has financial interest and/or has a dispute with one of the parties. Judge Danziger precedent destroys the Israeli judicial system built in 60 years and presents it as the most dishonest, dangerous, crooked and corrupt legal system of any developed nation. Many Israeli layers encourage Makor to fight against Judge conflict of interest buy refuse to represent Makor for obvious reason. Makor hope that the international institutes that fight corruption will interfere and will not remain indifferent. Makor believe that the world will be watching to see if Israeli authorities correct this apparent miscarriage of justice and restore the Israeli judiciary.

The present complaint is related to the investigation already began against Judge Danziger by the police according to permission received from the Attorney General. He already was interrogated under caution about his relationship with Bat Yam Mayor Shlomo Lahiani. Search For Human Trafficking Victims Continues With Arrest Of Suspect

International government officials and the Minneapolis-based Institute for Trafficked, Exploited & Missing Persons (ITEMP) continue their search for information about a suspected human trafficker arrested and currently awaiting formal charges in Bolivia. José Ignacio Llopis Miró, 45, was arrested by INTERPOL agents June 17 at a café in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, after a nearly three-year manhunt.

/EINPresswire.com/ MINNEAPOLIS—International government officials and the Minneapolis-based Institute for Trafficked, Exploited & Missing Persons (ITEMP) continue their search for information about a suspected human trafficker arrested and currently awaiting formal charges in Bolivia.

José Ignacio Llopis Miró, 45, was arrested by INTERPOL agents June 17 at a café in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, after a nearly three-year manhunt. He is suspected in the disappearance of two women in Bolivia. He is also wanted in Uruguay, Spain, Guatemala, Argentina, and Australia on fraud, theft, and human trafficking-related charges. Furthermore, he is under investigation in Guatemala in connection with a homicide.

Spanish-born Miró allegedly operated under nearly a dozen aliases in 17 countries. He is approximately 6 feet tall, with brown hair and green eyes. He speaks English, Spanish, Italian, French, and Portuguese.

An avid sailor, Miró would reportedly arrive on his yacht and quickly befriend other travelers with his easy charm. To his alleged victims, he claimed to be a doctor traveling the world to compete in sailing regattas.

He would then allegedly deceive and defraud his victims, and is accused of entrapping women in sexual servitude more than once. Miró is accused of emptying his victims' bank accounts before vanishing.

In one pending criminal case, Miró allegedly stole EUR 2000 from a Uruguayan woman. According to the criminal complaint, he romanced her and offered to take her to Spain to work on his yacht. He asked her for money to complete visa paperwork, the victim said. After she gave it to him, Miró disappeared.

He was arrested in Paraguay in November 2010 but released for lack of evidence.

Miro first came to ITEMP's attention in Guatemala in 2009 when an allegedly drugged, entrapped, and sexually-victimized young woman escaped from him and fled to file a report with the Guatemalan National Police. The first several officials the woman turned to laughed. One even called her a "silly tourist."

ITEMP is the international anti-human trafficking subprogram of The GOD'S CHILD Project. Founded in 2001 by Bismarck-native Patrick Atkinson, ITEMP takes a multifaceted approach to combating modern day slavery. Through victim rescue and rehabilitation, as well as government advocacy and community education, ITEMP fights human trafficking around the globe.

Eventually, a government official suggested she tell her story to Atkinson. He recognized the classical signs of human trafficking in her tale, and directed her to officials who could help. Finally, a Guatemalan arrest warrant was signed for Miró in May 2009.

After this case, Atkinson started digging up Miró's past and quickly realized that this was not the first young woman he had allegedly targeted.

"He was very predictable. He was a sailor and always used the same name for his boat, Don Juan. He frequented certain places, especially where there were tourists. He dressed a certain way," Atkinson said. "We used all of this information to track him and eventually nab him. But now we need victims to come forward to make sure we can keep him behind bars."

To prevent Miró from being released again, ITEMP is asking victims or people with information on other crimes connected to Miró to come forward.

Some of the more general information about Miró is posted on ITEMP's website (http://www.itemp.org/wantedtraffickers.html), and is promoted through search engine optimization to come up quickly if a person searches for one of his many aliases.

Coordinating tips generated from the website, and feeding this information to an international network of law enforcement agencies, ITEMP was able to track Miró's location and alias, while studying his methodology.

ITEMP officials in Guatemala are preparing to pass on the information they have collected through the website and through the pending criminal case in Guatemala to prosecutors in Bolivia. Guatemalan ITEMP officials are working actively with Bolivian officials to present a strong criminal case against Miró.

The Elephant in the Room.

/EINPresswire.com/ An ancient Indian fable describes how we humans know about life and everything else in it based on our own limited individual comprehension capacity and the fuzzy nature of reality. There is this story of of an elephant in a dark room, where 6 blind men try to figure out what it is. One feels the trunk and concludes it is a large python. Another concludes it is a fan, while another concludes it is a pillar etc. Each has the arrogance to proclaim that they know the truth based on their information.

The blindness signifies that we are too limited in our capacity to perceive the whole landscape of life. The darkness signifies that the object at hand is covered in darkness to begin with. Which means the knowledge of life itself is shrouded in darkness/mystery.

At the 4th R Foundation we have managed to bring light into this dark room. We have also replaced the 6 blind men with men of full 20/20 vision. In the brand new version of this fable we can clearly see the elephant in its full majesty and splendor. The elephant in the room is emotional intelligence, which at the super mature stage is wisdom. Unfortunately for main stream education we still believe that wisdom is beyond understanding and that the room is still too dark and the object of our study is too fuzzy to comprehend.

When we try to define wisdom we go back to quoting Aristotle and Voltaire and continue to believe that wisdom cannot be defined in words. Indeed wisdom is a qualia entity and so it is hard to define in words. Its like a fragrance, in fact it is a fragrance of the pure self. Just like any fragrance it can be experienced and it can even be created. And just like every fragrance it is a secondary entity which means it cannot be created on its own, it needs a source from which it emerges innately. Can one create and experience the fragrance of a rose without the rose, even for a manufactured rose fragrance physical ingredients are required. We even cannot take away the fragrance of a flower. The fragrance of the rose exists due to the existence of the rose! Wisdom is an innate qualia entity of the pure self. Innate qualia entities cannot be created independently on their own. It is an emotionally super intelligent sense that springs from a physical source. So in order to create a super sense the quality of the physical source of the self has to be physically improved. The pure self is itself a fragrance that springs from the brain. The quality of the self depends on the physical quality of the brain. So in order to create wisdom one has to create a super mature brain which will biochemically produce the pure self which is innately wise.

Since ancient times it is presumed that the way to teach wisdom is to teach its attributes. The attributes are part and parcel of wisdom. They all come together biochemically bonded in one package. All the attributes have one single power source. They are all projected by the pure self. The pure self is powered by a pure brain. The fundamental quality that is projected by the pure brain is selflessness. So by creating a pure brain we will be creating selflessness which manifests itself in the attributes of wisdom which make the projected self wise. It all boils down to the fact that wisdom is selflessness and selflessness is wisdom and they are both innate part and parcel of the pure self which springs from the pure brain.

So it is very clear that in order to produce wisdom, selflessness and the pure self we will have to find a way to physically nurture the brain of man into a pure brain. As prevention is better than a cure we have to start early. We will have to train parents to become wise individuals themselves so that they will bring up their children with pure brains. Those who are older and have had an unhealthy upbringing will have to undergo emotional intelligence/wisdom therapy to physically upgrade their brains.

Thus wisdom education boils down to physically changing the impure brain into a pure brain. The question is how to change an impure brain into a pure brain. We have several therapies that we use to make subnormal brains into normal brains we can use the same therapies to take the subnormal to normal to super normal. Wisdom education is for both the subnormal and the normal. Both level brains will have to be physically improved. These therapies will be modified to specifically focus on changing the brain to project selflessness/an-Ego-less self. We at the 4th R Foundation have tinkered with a few different schools of therapy and have come up with our own, self image therapy (please google self image therapy by sajid khan). It is a therapy that gets rid of all the emotional baggage in the brain, which makes the brain pure.

We can now see that the elephant in the room is this impure brain that the majority become. And our misery is compounded by this confusion and lack of understanding about the true nature of emotional intelligence which at the super mature stage is wisdom. This ignorance about emotional ignorance and emotional super maturity is what causes emotional instability and is this huge problem that is causing all this mess in the world.

Poor Nations Must Be Shown The Way To Prosperity And Made To Understand Why They Are Poor.

Prosperity is all about being authentic at the individual, group and country levels. In order to get out of perpetual poverty, nations will have to break out of their current corrupt emotional intelligence bondage.

It is now very clear that emotional intelligence is as important as regular intelligence for individuals. As Governments are made up of individuals we must implement the importance of emotional intelligence standards for Governments. We must create Gross National Standards/Values for Governments based on the highest standards of emotional intelligence which is wisdom.

The benefits of wisdom
Just like Gross National Product of countries we have to measure Gross National Standards/Values. Show every country the connection between GNP and Gross National Standards and how standards like Gross National Freedom, Gross National Opportunity, Gross National Tolerance, Gross National Economic Freedom, Gross National Economic Potential, Gross National Priorities, etc. can change the GNP for better and how Gross National Corruption, Gross National Restrictions, Gross National Hatred, Gross National Deception keeps the GNP down. These countries have to be shown how they can develop Gross National standards.

Take the example of Gross International Relations (even Gross Interstate Relations). There is a trillion-dollar trade between the US, Canada and Mexico. If these neighbors were hostile with each other would this much trade be possible? Would the US GNP be this good? How much more of the resources would then have to be spent on defense?
The American standards are being followed in computers, in aviation and in science and technology. Why can't we take the best American values like Gross National Freedom, Gross National Economic Opportunity and Gross National laws and show different countries the reason why the American GNP is number 1 in the world and how each country can follow America's example by following American Gross National Standards adapted to their own needs.

Take for instance the Gross National Law Enforcement. Are the rich and connected above the law and the poor and helpless below the law? Show how these values effect the GNP.

The same concept can also be applied to Gross Personal Values. It can be a precise and exact science of how to increase the potential of each country and each individual by harnessing and channeling the energies and attention in the wisdom direction. By showing the connection between wisdom behavior and prosperity and the connection between corruption and poverty we can wake up these countries to the real potential of their Gross National Product. We can show them that by simply changing their standards of behavior they can enable countries and individuals to rise to their full potential. We must show them how to actualize the Gross National Potential of each and every country and their GNP is bound to rise.

The GOD'S CHILD Project, a North Dakota-based nonprofit organization, is celebrating 20 years of domestic and international service with praise from the White House. President Barack Obama sent a letter congratulating the Project and its founder Patrick Atkinson for improving the lives of thousands of impoverished children and mothers in the United States, Guatemala, El Salvador, India, and Malawi, Africa.

WASHINGTON- The GOD'S CHILD Project, a North Dakota-based nonprofit organization, is celebrating 20 years of domestic and international service with praise from the White House. President Barack Obama sent a letter congratulating the Project and its founder Patrick Atkinson for improving the lives of thousands of impoverished children and mothers in the United States, Guatemala, El Salvador, India, and Malawi, Africa.

"On this occasion, we are reminded of the abiding truth that each of us has the power to create a better world for ourselves and our children when we do God's work here on earth," President Obama wrote in the letter.

Atkinson, who grew up in North Dakota, founded The GOD'S CHILD Project in 1991 to educate and care for orphaned, abandoned, and impoverished children in Antigua, Guatemala. His original vision has since grown into 13 distinct programs dedicated to creating sustainable and permanent change in the lives of the world's poorest people.

"When I started GOD'S CHILD, I never could have imagined the international social movement that the Project would become," Atkinson said.

More than 5,000 children and nearly 8,700 mothers and their dependents receive services from The GOD'S CHILD Project. The organization's holistic approach to breaking the generational poverty cycle includes free education, health and dental care, psychological care, legal representation, food and clothing donations, and housing. GOD'S CHILD also combats human trafficking, childhood malnutrition, gang violence, and homelessness in some of the world's most vulnerable communities.

"It is an honor to receive praise from the White House for the work The GOD'S CHILD Project has quietly been doing for two decades," Atkinson said. "While it is humbling to know that the President is familiar with our work, that is not why we serve the poor.
