The new TC2 line of grain conveyors is now available through the Quality Plus network of independent dealers and distributors.

The TC2 Conveyor Series is the newest product line in the Quality Plus portfolio and is the only line of top-carry conveyors capable of operating effectively at inclines up to 45 degrees. The TC2 line was developed to provide gentle, high quality, high capacity grain handling while meeting all seed company seed handling design specifications.

Angel at UNESCO site in France Rocks World for Christmas!

Three hands-on financial training sessions will be offered, at multiple times and diverse locations, to farmers beginning December 12 and 13, 2011. What We Can Learn From the Chinese.

There are parts of the country where floods are causing havoc. Why can't we learn from the Chinese? Why can't we start a massive irrigation canal network to take the excessive water form one region to the one where it is needed.

This will be a massive project resulting in huge job creation. Also along the way preference must be given to local people to organize and form construction companies, instead of giving the contract to one or few massive companies that are already rich. This huge problem of drought in major parts of America has to be addressed. Why not get to solve three massive crises with just one solution. The problem of flooding, the problem of drought and the problem of joblessness.

We have to think of water in creative ways. Water is a precious commodity that must be harnessed for maximum benifits. In parts of the country where it is abundance is destructive, it must be tamed and siphoned off to places where it's scarcity is destroying crops.

The world weather is already changing and we must be ready to tackle all eventualities; down the line if the situation gets worse, we will be unprepared to face the consequences of our inaction.

We needs jobs right now, we need to get water to areas that are in drought and we need to remove excess water from the flooded areas. What better way to solve the water problems as well as get a huge chunk of jobs creation. By creating a massive canal project we can begin to solve all three problems.

Governor John Hickenlooper honors dairy farmers with proclamation

The proclamation - which kicked off the 75th anniversary of dairy farmers and Denver-based Western Dairy Association (WDA) - recognized 220 dairy farm families in Colorado, Wyoming and Montana for working together to promote their products and provide consumers annually with more than 3.2 billion pounds of milk. More than 420 dairy farmers and business leaders gathered June 13 at INVESCO Field at Mile High Stadium to benchmark the milestone. Dairy production is one of Colorado's top 10 agricultural sectors with approximately 115,000 dairy cows in the state. Joe Ellis, president of the Denver Broncos, thanked dairy farmers and WDA for their partnership.

"We participate in a really great program, Fuel Up to Play 60," he said. "It is geared toward health, wellness and physical fitness for kids. It is a national program and this is one piece of it. Not only is it called fuel up, you (as dairy farmers) really do 'fuel' Fuel Up to Play 60 with your participation with us. It is has been great with our elementary and middle schools."

Larry Jensen, president of Leprino Foods based in Denver, Colo., honored dairy farmers for their pioneering spirit and world-class milk production. Reflecting on the Leprino Food's humble beginnings 60 years ago, Jensen said that the global cheese company, which grew from processing 48 milk cans a day in Denver, now operates nine U.S. plants with a 10th scheduled to open later this year in Greeley, Colo.

"This is a great place to make milk. It's a marvelous place to be from," he commented. "The dairy business has been very good to us, but we've always maintained our roots here in the West. When we had the opportunity to think about where we would put our 10th plant, Greeley was the location of choice. We are proud to be from Colorado. We are proud to be associated with WDA, the Western spirit and western entrepreneurship. The dairy farmers in this part of the country are among the best in the world."

Dairy farmers should also be saluted for their focus on consumer health, nutrition and wellness.
