Dr. Daniel Krall Named to Head Glaucoma Dept.
Pasadena, CA - July 16, 2010 -- Linden Optometry announced Friday that Dr Daniel Krall, OD, has joined the company as Head of the Glaucoma Department.
In this capacity, he will oversee the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma patients, provide primary eye care for other patients, and work closely with management to promote Linden Optometry's core values and strategic objectives.
"Glaucoma is a disease which damages the eye's optic nerve. It is a leading cause of blindness in the United States," said Alan Limfat, OD, President of Linden Optometry. "Previously, any patients who were diagnosed with Glaucoma at Linden Optometry had to make numerous trips to an outside glaucoma clinic for further diagnosis and treatment. Having a glaucoma doctor available inhouse at Linden Optometry will add a layer of convenience for those patients."
Dr. Krall is a graduate of Southern California College of Optometry, where he was awarded three scholarships. He is certified to treat Glaucoma in California, as well as to prescribe medications for the treatment of allergies, eye infections, and many other ocular conditions.
Dr. Krall was a Research Fellow at SCCO in the treatment of "Dry Eye Condition" as well as a Research Fellow in "Complex Contact Lens Fitting." His training included internships at the Camp Pendleton Naval Hospital, the Las Vegas VA Clinic, and Inscription House IHS Clinic in Shanto, AZ.
