Gazprom delegation takes part in roundtable discussion 'Cooperation in Energy Sector'
11 June, 2010 -- Paris hosted today a roundtable discussion "Cooperation in the Energy Sector" as part of the Russian National Exhibition "Russia and France - a single economic and humanitarian space".
Participating in the roundtable discussion were highly ranking officials from the Russian Ministry of Energy and the French Ministry of Ecology, Energy, Sustainable Development and Sea; as well as senior managers from a number of Russian and French companies.
Stanislav Tsygankov, Head of the International Business Department of Gazprom addressed the roundtable discussion participants with a statement.
In his statement Stanislav Tsygankov informed the audience about the current status of and the prospects for Gazprom's cooperation with France's major energy companies, primarily, GDF SUEZ, Total and EDF. The speaker highlighted various aspects of business relations with the above mentioned companies and drew attention to the role they could play in Gazprom's large-scale projects execution, namely, Nord Stream, Shtokman field development and South Stream.
"Our ties with French companies in the energy sector are rapidly expanding and we are satisfied with the progress achieved recently," said Stanislav Tsygankov.
