British Airways Crews Ready to Walk Out Over Perks Dispute
May 17, 2010 /EIN Presswire/ -- Travelers already reeling from a series of strikes and volcanic ash cancellations may get hit hard again Tuesday. That's when cabin crews from British Airways are scheduled to begin a series of walkouts.
BA and its union have reached a tentative agreement on the company's plans to reduce costs by trimming its workforce, but the union wants to reverse removal of travel perks from staff who went on strike in March.
