Origin's Dividend Reinvestment Plan to apply to interim dividend with no discount
As part of the announcement of its Interim Financial Results, Origin Energy Limited (Origin) today advised that an interim fully franked dividend of 25 cents per share will be paid on 30 March 2012 to shareholders of record on 5 March 2012.
Origin's Dividend Reinvestment Plan (DRP) will apply to this dividend, however no discount will apply to the price of shares issued under the DRP and the DRP will not be underwritten. The pricing period for the interim dividend will be 10 trading days, starting 7 March 2012 and concluding 20 March 2012 (both inclusive).
The DRP price will be announced to the ASX at the end of the pricing period.
Shareholders who wish to change their participation in the DRP are advised to visit the share registry website https://investorcentre.linkmarketservices.com.au or to contact Link Market Services Limited on 1300 664 446. Changes to elections must be received by 5pm on the dividend record date of Monday, 5 March 2012.
