Nuvolt Corporation Announces a Sale of the SmartScan Pro System as Well as the Manufacturing of the First Units of ShipScan and SmartScan Pro Systems

Nuvolt Corporation Inc. (« Nuvolt ») (TSX VENTURE:NCO) is pleased to announce the conclusion of the first sale of its SmartScanPro system to St. Lawrence Stevedoring, a Quebec Company.

According to Mr. Giles Campagna, Director of Maintenance and Engineering of St. Lawrence Stevedoring: "The SmartScan Pro is a need in our community since the stevedoring facilities, for the loading and unloading of a ship, are mainly electrical. We cannot afford to have operation downtimes after a power failure. SmartScan Pro is essential to our operations since it is predictive. We are informed ahead of time of an incoming electrical problem."

Mr. Jacques Dion, President of Nuvolt, is particularly proud of St. Lawrence Stevedoring's decision to integrate SmartScan Pro to their basic equipment. "Beyond the fact that it is a significant strategic sale, this is a confirmation for Nuvolt of the weight potential of the industrial market. After several months of validation and adaptation of the SmartScan system to a system better suited for the industrial sector, the SmartScan Pro is ready to be launched to the market."

Moreover, Jacques Dion confirms that the process of adapting the SmartScan, equipment and electrical network monitoring and management system, is also completed for the maritime sector where the product will be marketed under the name ShipScan. The SmartScan Pro and ShipScan are under manufacturing and will be available to markets in April / May 2012.
