Dean manages key business operations of the company, including sales, strategic alliances, business development and commerce initiatives. Dean brings more than 20 years of entrepreneurial success creating, managing and monetizing new businesses and product lines with a particular focus on the consumer Internet. He has extensive experience in the development, management and distribution of online content, as well as business development, marketing, sales and business operations. Most recently, Dean was at LivingSocial where he was responsible for creating the Daily Deals business unit. In less than a year, he grew the program to over 120 cities resulting in over $225 million in venture funding and over $1 billion in enterprise value. Prior to LivingSocial, Dean was VP of eCommerce for the Active Network, a world leader in software and consumer solutions in support of active lifestyles.

Randy holds a bachelor's degree in Speech Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and also has a professional culinary degree.
