Murray Wise Associates Expands Presence in Western States

Murray Wise Associates has expanded its capabilities in the Western United States with the addition of Richard Brown, CFA, who brings broad experience in both finance and agriculture.

"We've had several opportunities to work with Richard and are delighted to bring him on board full time. He will be actively involved in all areas of the business -- financial advisory, land auctions and farm management operations -- with a particular focus on Utah and Idaho," said Ken Nofziger, company president.

As a real estate professional specializing in agricultural properties, Brown has worked with several institutional asset managers in identifying and evaluating farmland investments. He also has an extensive finance background, having worked in asset management and banking at Citigroup Investments in New York City and BNP Paribas in San Francisco. Brown is a graduate of Brigham Young University and Duke University's MBA program, where he studied finance and strategy.
