3 Fellers Bakery Desserts to Debut in Whole Foods Stores
Gluten-free baked goods to premiere in select grocery stores on Mid-Atlantic Coast.
/EINPresswire.com/ Goochland, VA - 3 Fellers bakery announced this week that it will soon have gluten-free desserts available in the bakery section of Whole Foods grocery stores. Seven varieties of individually packaged specialty treats will be available in select Mid-Atlantic stores within the next few weeks.
"Our products are all-natural," said Mike Feller, president of 3 Fellers. "We like to use the finest ingredients that we can find. We try to make the highest quality products possible, and that is in keeping with the philosophy of Whole Foods stores and the products that they carry."
The 3 Fellers gluten-free desserts soon to debut in the Whole Foods stores bakery section include two types of brownies, two types of mini pies and three varieties of specialty cupcakes.
"Our desserts look just as good and taste just as good - if not better - than non-gluten-free desserts," said Feller. "When we create a brownie or a cookie or any of our baked goods, we pride ourselves on that."
The Virginia-based company was started by Feller's mother in her own gluten-free kitchen in 2004 as an answer to members of the family living with celiac disease seeking a gluten-free diet with food that tasted good. She began fixing special gluten-free meals for friends and family, opening a bakery in the Richmond suburb in 2007. While the bakery still serves local customers, the company has since turned its sights more toward its wholesale business. It features products in the frozen foods or bakery sections of some grocery store chains, as well as some local organic and natural specialty food stores.
