The awards are presented annually to recognize achievement in the Contemporary, Behop, Instrumental, Mainstream, Gospel, New Urban, Traditional, Avant-garde, Big Band, Swing, Educational and Vocal Jazz music formats and other sectors of the contemporary jazz genre.
Each year we choose to honor the inspiring, inventive, jazz tastemakers who best reflect the CoffeeTalk Jazz Radio mission in songwriting, video's and various playing styles.
