Windy City Novelties a Proud Participant On Extreme Makeover: Home Edition
/EINPresswire.com/ Windy City Novelties provides Blue Glow Products for an upcoming episode of the popular ABC television program
Autism has touched so many lives around the world, including one special family in Medford, Oregon.
When CJ and Lindsay McPhail started the Southern Oregon Sparrow Clubs to help children with disabilities and medical problems, they never knew that they would be in need of help themselves one day.
Two of the McPhail's three children, 6-year old Sawyer and 4-year old Thatcher, have been diagnosed with autism.
The family does the best they can, but the McPhail's home is more than 50 years old and suffers from old wiring and heating problems.
Now, help has come to the McPhail's in the form of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.
The popular ABC program relies on the kindness of individuals and businesses alike to help families in need. Windy City Novelties is happy to be counted among the proud participants on the show.
Company spokesperson Jeff Schrimmer says that providing blue glow products, such as glow sticks, glow necklaces, and glow bracelets, for the celebration welcoming the family back to their new home, is the least the company could do.
He says that, "Blue is the color for autism, just as pink is for breast cancer. This is our way of helping to create awareness of the struggles families face when autism enters their lives. We are happy to do what we can and participate in the very positive efforts of the show."
Schrimmer adds that the glow celebration put on for the McPhail family helps to show that glow products can be enjoyed at parties all year round and not just Halloween or the 4th of July.
Extreme Makeover: Home Edition airs Fridays 8/7c on ABC.
