December 10, 2009 (FinancialWire) — The Valspar Corp. (NYSE: VAL) said its board of directors has declared a quarterly dividend of 16 cents per share, payable January 15, 2010 to all common stockholders of record on December 31, 2009.
The 16 cent dividend represents a one cent, or 6.7 percent, increase from the dividend in place over the last four quarters.
Valspar is engaged in the paint and coatings industry.
