Combining a seasoned instructor's hands-on teaching style with an in-demand topic for SQL Server administrators results in many satisfied students.

...the flexibility to answer and demo results from those questions we asked makes [the class] more interactive and keeps the attention better”
— IT Manager as a major corporation
EFFORT, PENNSYLVANIA, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, June 25, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ -- "SQL Reporting Essentials" is a one-day class recently created by Master Instructor, Charles Hyman, who is a Microsoft-Certified Instructor. The class was offered for the first time on June 21, 2018. Mr. Hyman's many years' of experience working with Microsoft SQL Server has given him a keen understanding of the challenges faced by professionals who need to create, format, and manage SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).

Several students who took the June 21 class were new to reporting with Microsoft SQL Server Report Builder and SSRS. Some were transitioning from another reporting software application. Others were already using these tools but wanted to know how to use them more effectively. Almost all participated in lively discussions during the class.

One student, who is an IT Manager as a major corporation says, "thanks for the class today and the flexibility to answer and demo results from those questions we asked. It makes it more interactive and keeps the attention better. I also like how you did things, different ways; showing us that there are many ways to accomplish the same thing. This especially applies to properties for various controls."

The hands-on class, offered by Microsoft Partner Signzilla Training, incorporated use of a virtual machine connection. Each student can individually and independently log in and work through exercises with provided software, immediately after learning a concept from the live instructor. Students were able to connect to a database and manipulate data into various reports. The entire class is conducted online, convenient for busy professionals who cannot take much time off from work to attend training.

14 students took advantage of this first-time offering of the class, hailing from California to Maryland, and Texas to Minnesota. International students from Canada and India participated as well. Due to the success of this new course, a second class will be offered again on July 20. It is anticipated that future classes will be offered beyond that date. For more information, please visit
