As part of this encompassing view, K2 is now offering a more custom method of charging batteries.

After great anticipation, K2 introduces the “K2 Energy Li-ion Battery Charger.” This charger has two adjustable charging spaces that fit K2’s 18650, 26650, 14500, 16340, and RCR123A as well as several other rechargeable Li-ion battery types. The independent circuits allow each battery to charge appropriately and update the user in real-time via the LCD Screen. The custom algorithms and convenience of charging through microUSB, for example through a computer 5V USB or included wall charger and car port, will greatly improve the usability and practicality of rechargeable li-ion batteries.

K2 recognized the frustration of different sized cells needing several separate chargers and taking several wall slots, and then never knowing how close they were to a full charge. K2’s new charger clearly displays the state of charge for each battery on the LCD screen, and when full the entire LCD screen will flash to alert the user. The independent circuits allow users to place batteries at different charge levels and cell types without fear of damaging them by over-charging or under-charging.
