Singer and Songwriter Serenity Stewart to be Featured on CUTV News Radio

PHOENIX, ARIZONA, UNITED STATES, December 29, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ -- There are a variety of music genres from pop, rap, and rock that make us dance and feel happy. But how do we keep old time music alive like jazz, big band, and swing music that fills us with a touch of nostalgia from a different time in history?

Serenity Stewart is a talented singer and songwriter who performs for a variety of events from charitable functions and staged theatre shows, to high end corporate events and private in-home parties. She is is performing her new show “The Golden Age of Jazz and the Legendary Ladies” traveling this New Year to Costa Rica, Dubai, and Tokyo.

In 2012, Serenity released her first album entitled “P.S. I Love You.”

“My music is centered on The Golden age of Jazz and the glamour of Old Hollywood of the 20s 30s and 40,” says Serenity. “The sultry allure, a little vamp, wearing the gown and opera gloves. That fascinating time was the last era of all the enchanting melodies we had in music that literally evokes the sense of romance you can’t find in today’s music.”

Serenity’s unique songwriting is reflective of the mood of the music and melody from that bygone era.

“It was music that moved a country shaken by a monumental war and a post war recession,” explains Serenity. “At times it was either romantic, passionate, or dramatic and the lyrics were an indicator of what life was like during those difficult times.”

In her upcoming show Serenity will perform hits from the Golden Age of Jazz bringing back nostalgic music from the 30s, 40s, 50s and Legendary Ladies showing us music like fashion is always finding its way back to where it began.

“Sit back relax with me to the days of Yore and enjoy my music,” says Serenity. “When I make people smile and bring them joy with my music that is my way of giving back.”

CUTV News Radio will feature Serenity Stewart in an interview with Jim Masters on January 2nd at 3pm EST.
