A diverse group of attendees and speakers participated in the 2017 DOE Solid-State Lighting Technology R&D Workshop, held November 8 in Portland, OR. Participants examined the latest technology advances and research questions, and provided updates on various early-stage research efforts that will serve as a foundation for future SSL technological developments. The workshop was preceded by a guided evening tour that provided an inside look at the DOE Connected Lighting Test Bed.
