VMUG Announces Tech Superstar Line-up for Upcoming Orlando UserCon

The event will include sessions on exciting VMware announcements and integrations like Amazon Web Services.

ORLANDO, FL, USA, October 11, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ -- NASHVILLE — The VMware User Group (VMUG) (http://www.vmug.com/) is excited to announce the lineup for the Orlando UserCon later this month. The event will include a keynote presentation by Kyle Ruddy (Senior Technical Marketing Engineer at VMware) and sessions on exciting VMware announcements and integrations like Amazon Web Services.

In the opening keynote, Kyle Ruddy will address automation, why it matters, and where to start. Automation is a concept that can be extremely powerful or extremely intimidating, depending on your perspective. Regardless of your current viewpoint and skill level, automation has the ability to make processes repeatable, more efficient, and less error-prone. In this session, Kyle will discuss what automation is, why everyone should be looking to automate tasks & processes, and how to get started.

Eric Hardcastle will lead a session on using VMware Cloud on AWS. A hot topic since the announcement at VMworld, VMware Cloud on AWS will bring their enterprise-class Software-Defined Data Center (SDDC) software to the AWS cloud. Customers will be able to run any application across vSphere-based private, public and hybrid cloud environments. It will be delivered, sold and supported by VMware as an on-demand, elastically scalable service and customers will be able to leverage the global footprint and breadth of services from AWS. This session will provide a technical overview of the VMware Cloud on AWS Service.

One of the highly anticipated community sessions is titled The Golden Hammer - Hacking Your Brain to Learn (IT Stuff) Faster. Andrew Miller will lead attendees on a quest to learn how to hack their brains to learn faster. He’ll discuss how mental models can help you comprehend more quickly, explore some common models, illustrate them with IT stories, and let you know where you can learn more.

In addition to these speakers, attendees will have the opportunity to interact with vendors, sponsors, and partners in the Exhibit Hall and participate in a variety of other technical sessions from VMware and community experts!
