LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES, October 9, 2017 / -- The Boards of Directors of the American College of Neurocognitive Medicine (ACNM) and the American Board of Neuropsychiatry have accepted the recommendation of a joint senior leadership committee to appoint Dr. David Durham to the post of Executive Vice-President. Additionally, he will serve on the governing council of the American Board of Neuropsychiatry. Current board chair Dr. Richard Weinberger, a former professor at Harvard and venture fund manager, praised the selection. "Durham is an exceptional neuropsychiatrist who has helped elevate the standards of our profession to new levels of excellence. His former experience as a management consultant and his reputation for reinvigorating both academic and private healthcare organizations coupled with his dedication to clinical excellence is probably the most unique skillset I have yet encountered in a leader of this quality." Dr. Durham is the former host of Fox Broadcasting's FirstHealth with Dr. Dave which ran from 2004 through 2007.
