RICHMOND, VA, UNITED STATES, September 11, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Laser therapy expert Dr. Nelson Marquina, MSc, PhD, DC will instruct the Certified Laser Practitioner Program for chiropractic and physical medicine practitioners and accompanied staff members.

The hands-on post-graduate course advances therapeutic lasers to the forefront of safe and effective medical options for addressing pain in light of the opioid addiction crisis sweeping the nation. Laser therapy uses biology, physics and technology to assist the body in healing by naturally resolving inflammation and repairing tissue at the source of pain.

USA Laser Biotech President and Chief Technology Officer, Dr. Marquina, is a developer of photonic and bioelectromagnetic systems and treatment protocols. He most recently authored a chapter in the 2017 third edition of The Scientific Basis of Integrative Health, titled, “Energy Medicine: Focus on Lasers.” The chapter provides the most relevant science as a basis for the clinical application of lasers, highlighting the capabilities of therapeutic laser light to be safely absorbed by human tissues and organs for repair and cellular regeneration.

According to Vice President of Chiropractic and Alumni Relations for Logan University, Dr. Ralph Barrale, “The Certified Laser Practitioner Program is a don’t-miss seminar. It is rare to have the opportunity to study under such a well-respected author, lecturer and acknowledged expert in the use of laser therapy, and we are excited to have Dr. Marquina back on our campus.”

The seminar program will be held in Chesterfield, Missouri on October 14–15, 2017. Early registration discount applies until September 29. Register at www.logan.edu under Alumni, call 800.842.3234 or email PostGrad@logan.edu
