The fully accredited, practitioner-led, accelerated course is on October 12–13, 2017. It is designed to provide information security professionals with a comprehensive understanding of the best-practice standard for information security and the skills to lead an ISO 27001 information security management system (ISMS) implementation project.

Alan Calder is an acknowledged international cybersecurity expert and a leading author on information security and IT governance issues. Attendees who pass the course exam are awarded the ISO 17024-accredited ISO27001 Certified ISMS Lead Implementer (CIS LI) qualification by IBITGQ. CIS LI is acknowledged by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) as meeting the requirements to apply to become a PCI Qualified Security Assessor (QSA).
