TV Azteca Announces Advance Payment of US$197.5 Million of Debt

—With the payment, the company completely amortizes its US$300 million senior notes due in 2018—

MEXICO CITY, July 21, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- TV Azteca, S.A.B. de C.V. (BMV:AZTECACPO) (Latibex:XTZA), one of the two largest producers of Spanish-language television programming in the world, announced today that it will pay in advance on August 21, US$197.5 million of its US$300 million, with a coupon of 7.5% and due in 2018, at a call price of 100%. The prepayment will be made with the company´s cash and peso-denominated debt.

The transaction announced today is added to the cancellation for US$42.4 million, of the same senior notes, carried out in March, and the anticipated payment of US$60 million on July 14. With this transaction, the company completely redeems its US$300 million senior notes.
