Department hosts Moroccan Trade Delegation

The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine today hosted a visiting delegation from Morocco, headed by Mr Hammou Ouhelli, Secretary of State for Rural Development. The Secretary of State was accompanied by Senior Officials from ONSSA, ADA and industry representatives. This visit follows on from the successful Trade Mission to Morocco, lead by Minister Creed last November.

Senior Department officials accompanied by Sustainable Food Systems Ireland hosted high level discussions in Agriculture House, where opportunities for enhanced trade and cooperation were discussed.

The Moroccan delegation will also have an opportunity to meet with key state agencies such as Bord Bia, Enterprise Ireland and Teagasc.
